landscapes of Wapiti Wyo!!

One of the first pieces that threw me into the work I create today was this piece of the pagoda in Wapiti...my mom done stold it! Silly moms. Well, the area actually looks like this, there are trailers and it just made the best composition. close ups are soon to come!

This is the road my family use to live on.  It is beautiful and it leads to the Shoshone river.  Some of the best Sunday walks ever were on this road.

My name is Katharina and I'd like to welcome you to my blog.  I am an artist and currently work in Utah and Nevada.  I work with rodeo scenes specifically with children.  It is often asked why create art and I must reply with much consideration-because I must.  I create these scenes to show something about myself to myself and others.  I like to use these subjects to connect with a world I became a part of and through this I have learned more about me than I wish to admit.
