whats been going on!!

Howdy! So, I have established a webpage for my photography: kmphotobooth.weebly.com and have posted it all over ksl.com.  Ive gotten a few potential clients so this is an exciting time.  Ive also posted on ksl that Ill teach drawing lessons so hopefully we can get this art thing going!!! My plan is that within the next two years I wont have to have a real job I can just create and this my friends is a possibility.  Exciting!! Thanks for helping!

When studying art every teacher asks the first day who is minoring in education. I decided not to. To a great surprise when they would come to me on that first day of wonderful judgment and first impressions i stated happily 'criminal justice'. The follow up would be, 'oh..well..that's..that's different'. Then they ask what I plan to do in art if I won't be teaching. I wish to teach, only on the college level, but I would say, 'paint I suppose'. The follow follow up is always,'Oh well you better learn photography then'.

Well, here I am graduated, jobless, and in need of money for food and future grad school so what do I resort to...photography.  I really do enjoy it so its not so bad at all!  Well I'm very excited to introduce KM Photobooth here in the Slat Lake area!!! w0007! Figured I'd take my photo skills to weddings and such, luckily my friend Ashley is getting married so I was able to shoot some engagement photos!

Ebay!

Well I put a piece on Ebay and I have a watcher! Yays!!!! This is so exciting so someone besides me likes my work! yee flippin haw! or as my aunt says "hee haw".  So I have been making quilts as well as new paintings and drawings.  I have a set of three drawings I'll put up momentarily that I think have turned out pretty nice.  I plan to make a set of sheep ones cause hey, sheep are the cutest things in the world!  Have a happy day!

landscapes of Wapiti Wyo!!

One of the first pieces that threw me into the work I create today was this piece of the pagoda in Wapiti...my mom done stold it! Silly moms. Well, the area actually looks like this, there are trailers and it just made the best composition. close ups are soon to come!

This is the road my family use to live on.  It is beautiful and it leads to the Shoshone river.  Some of the best Sunday walks ever were on this road.
